On Thursday 10th November we held a Celebration of Lichfield Independent High Street Businesses!

Also Thank you to the Lord Mayor of Lichfield, Sheriff of Lichfield and members of the council for all attending and Westwoods kitchen and Premier PubCo for suppling our food and drink for the event, as it was fabulous.
The reason for this event is that Lichfield has some amazing small businesses. Since Covid, there have been other factors that have meant retail has not grown back to what it was before the pandemic. For all the small business owners running their own business can be a daily struggle and very lonely, sometimes we need help and support in order to survive and thrive. For ourselves we have been in business for over 100 years but nothing has challenged us more than what has happened over the last 3 years.
Our little city of Lichfield has some great businesses, in fact amazing little gems! We wanted to help bring the independent community together to help each other but then also speak out about some of the issues we face.
It was a great productive evening and so lovely to connect with likeminded people. Hopefully this is the start of working collectively to help protect not only our current businesses but also help encourage new businesses come to Lichfield.
So as a plea to all our lovely customers please have a good look around Lichfield and support your local shops. Each and every business is so passionate about what they do. They want you to come in try on, touch the product, ask for advice, help you in any which way they can. You don't get that online!
Every sale really does make a difference! Like and share local businesses on social media it really does mean a lot and helps us to survive and thrive. We love Lichfield and we are all very proud to be part of this amazing city
