Owner/Director

Tracey is the mother hen of Friary Shoes. She has been in the retail trade for over 35 years, 20 of those with Friary Shoes. You will see Tracey on most of our social media. She helps run the business along with Adam. Outside of work Tracey enjoys going to concerts and eating out. She also enjoys upcycling and diy.

Adam

Owner/Director

Friary Shoes has been in Adam’s family for over 100 years and he is 4^th generation to run the business. Adam has worked for various shoe retailers before joining the business 30 years ago. Selling shoes is in Adam’s blood and he is very passionate about Friary Shoes and very hands on.

In his spare time Adam enjoys going out, cooking and walking. He enjoys most sports but his passion is football. This season his favourite team are doing very well.

Georgia

Manager - Lichfield

Georgia has been with Friary Shoes for 7 years. Georgia started as a part-time member of the team and has now progressed to managing our Lichfield Team. Georgia always gets the job done. She is a good organiser and also enjoys doing displays both in the window and salesfloor. In her spare time Georgia enjoys shopping, going on holiday and drawing.

Claudine

Supervisor

Claudine has worked for Friary Shoes for 20 years, and has a wealth of experience especially with fitting children’s shoes. Claudine loves it when customers recognise her from when she fitted their shoes and they are now bringing in their own children to be fitted. When Claudine isn’t at work she enjoys gardening and training her puppy.

Wendy

Supervisor

Wendy joined Friary Shoes 7 years ago. Wendy enjoys being busy, she is fantastic when serving children. Outside of work Wendy loves spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She loves going on holiday and taking her gorgeous dog for walks.

Mark

Mark joined Friary Shoes in 2020. He works in all areas of the store and has become an integral part of our team. Outside of work Mark enjoys Taekwondo and is a black belt 1st dan. He also is a Beaver and Scout leader.

Vicki

Vicki has been part of the team for 2 years and works weekends and during the holidays. Vicki is a versatile member of the team and has flourished since joining us. Outside of work Vicki is learning to drive and enjoys partying with her friends.

Chantelle

Chantelle has been part of the team for 6 years. You will often see Chantelle in her favourite department which is children’s. Outside of work Chantelle loves spending time with her family and going to play groups with other parents. She used to be a dance teacher and when she is able still likes to help out.

Josie

One of our longest serving team, Josie has been with Friary Shoes for 23 years. Josie is queen of displays and our expert in the women’s and men’s department. In her spare time Josie is a very keen (and good) gardener. She also loves drawing and more recently flower arranging. Josie loves a bargain and often comes into work having found a bargain somewhere.

Lynne

Lynne joined the team 7 years ago. Lynne works in all areas of the store and gets on really well with our customers, as Lynne loves to chat. She is great a helping and training any new staff who start with us. In her spare time Lynne is a hands on Nanny to her grandson. When she gets some spare time Lynne spends time with her horse and enjoys going on holiday and nights out.

Georgia

Georgia otherwise know as Geege or Gee-gee started with us in the summer of 2022 and she has certainly hit the ground running and loves getting involved. She is very keen and a pleasure to have on our team. Out of work Geege is animal mad. She loves looking after her beloved Horse ( hence Gee-gee) and her gorgous dog, Woody.

Wesley

Wes has worked for Friary Shoes for the last 6 years. After successfully completing his apprenticeship Wes has worked hard and now is responsible for our stock control. In his spare time Wes loves gaming and going to the cinema and also is an avid Star Wars Fan

Noah

Noah started working for Friary Shoes in the Summer of 2022. He then left to concentrate on his sixth form studies but enjoyed his time with us so much, he came back again in the Summer of 2023 and now works most weekends. Noah is currently in Year 13 studying English Literature, History and Psychology, in the hope of becoming a teacher later in his life. In his spare time he enjoys going to art galleries and watching movies.

Erin

This is Erin and she started working for Friary Shoes in the summer of 2023. Currently Erin is in studying at sixth form where her subjects are maths, physics and geography. In the future Erin hopes to become an engineer. Outside of school Erin enjoys playing netball and tennis. She has made lots of friends and enjoys working with us as it has given her lots of useful experience for the future.

Flo

Flo works on a Saturday and in the holidays when able as she is currently at University. Flo wants to be a nurse, so is working really hard. In her spare time she loves going out with her friends and shopping for new clothes.

Lily

This is Lily, and she started working at Friary Shoes in the summer of 2023.Lily is studying Geography, English literature and Chemistry in sixth form. Lily wanted to find a weekend job that keeps her engaged with her studies and help her with her social skills which will benefit her later in life. Lily really enjoys our friendly environment and working with interesting customers. Outside of work Lily enjoys drawing and learning about art.

Anna

This is Anna and she joined the Friary team in the Summer of 2023. Anna works during the weekend as in the week she is busy studying at sixth form. Anna is studying English literature, Philosophy and Ethics and food science and nutrition as she would like to be a primary school teacher in the future. This job has given Anna some great experience in dealing with children, which she has found very useful and really helped with her confidence. Outside of school dancing and watching tv.

Nathaniel

This is Nathaniel and he joined the Friary shoes team at the start of 2024. Nathaniel is currently doing A Levels at sixth form. He is very passionate about football and an avid fan of Liverpool.

Eleanor

This is Eleanor and she joined the team at the beginning of 2024 . Eleanor is currently at college studying business as in the future she wants to run her own business. In her spare time she enjoys playing hockey and plays for her county.

This is Eva and she joined the Friary team in April of 2023. Eva is currently attending college studying psychology, sociology and law.
