We have been in Uttoxeter since 1981. We are in a central location on the High St and there is The Maltings carpark within 2 minutes of the store. We offer good traditional service and good value footwear for Ladies, Men and Children.

We measure, we care, we fit.
Our teams have a vast amount of experience when it comes to fitting shoes. We do our very best to offer advice and guidance, whether it be for your baby's first pair of shoes or something comfortable for yourself for work or an occasion.
If it's children's shoes you need then we can provide a measuring service where we measure both length and width. This measure then gives us a starting point and we use our knowledge and experience to know which styles are best suited to your child's shape of foot.
* If you just want us to measure your child's feet and not buy shoes we can do this however there is a £2 charge.

Carron
Manager
Carron is the longest serving member of the team in the business. Carron has been with Friary Shoes for 33 years. Carron is part of the furniture and there isn’t anything Carron doesn’t know about our business, she can do anything! Outside of work Carron’s passion is dogs. Having 3 dogs of her own, she also is a dog trainer and always on hand to offer doggy advice. She also enjoys going out and up-cycling and renovating items.
Tracey
Supervisor
Tracey has also been part of team Friary for over 25 years. Tracey is a key member of the team and can turn her hand to anything that arises. When Tracey isn’t working she enjoys shopping and going out. Tracey loves the sunshine so whenever she gets the chance she is either off on a plane or taking her beloved caravan away for the weekend.
Beth
Otherwise known as Our little Beth! Beth has been with Friary for over 6 years in total. Having started off with a Saturday job, Beth has developed herself and now helps all round in the store. She loves working, and would work 7 days a week if she could. Now that Beth can drive she also helps out when needed at our Lichfield Store. In her spare time Beth loves spending time with her dog, and she also has chickens and keeps the team going with a steady stream of eggs. Beth is a very good baker and often makes gorgous cakes for the team.
Lorna
Lorna has been with friary since February. Lorna is very friendly and loves talking and making the customers feel welcome. In her spare time, Lorna loves spending time with her family and playing with her grand-daughter.
Freya
Freya joined Friary Shoes last year and works every Saturday and during the holidays. Freya has picked up the job very quickly and is a great member of the team. When she isn’t working Freya enjoys sport and is keeping fit. As she’s very tall one of her favorite sports is netball where she has no trouble in shooting a the net, this also comes in handy for reaching shoes in the stockroom!
Kathryn
Kathryn is the newest member of the team, but has hit the ground running over our busy back to school period. She is a very quick learner and had some fantastic feedback from customers. In her spare time Kathryn loves art and enjoys baking.
Wendy
Wendy has worked for Friary for over 9 years and has a great caring nature with our customers. She is a proud nanny and enjoys treating the grandchildren and spending as much time as possible with them. Outside of work Wendy loves dressmaking and is very good at alterations. She also has two cats one which she takes for a walk on a lead.

We hope you are happy with your purchase. Should you change your mind, you can bring your footwear back into store for an exchange or a credit note within 28 days from date of purchase. The footwear must be unworn/resalable condition and with the receipt and box.
